Acting on specific inputs, Sleuth of Customs and Central Excise in Imphal seized 30 gold biscuits weighing 5 kg from a person today.
Anti Smuggling Unit of Customs carried out a sudden search operation today morning at Lamlong bazaar area in Imphal.
The custom officials arrested Mohammad Yanis of Sangai Yumfam area and recovered 5 kg of gold from his possession.
