Terming Prime Minister Narendra Modi as Dhritarashtra and Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb as Duryodhan, Tripura Congress in-charge Ajay Kumar alleged that despite police complaints after attacks on its supporters and leaders, none of the attackers were nabbed.

Kumar said that a Minister and the Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation who were named in the police complaints for leading the attacks are still roaming free and on the contrary, the Congress supporters who are the victims were arrested.

The Congress party’s Tripura in-charge criticised the Chief Minister for allegedly encouraging the ‘helmet gang’ and which only proves that none is safe under the present government under Biplab Kumar Deb.

Kumar also claimed that about 10-12 BJP MLAs and even Cabinet Ministers are in regular contact with him and his party leaders as they want to join Congress.

He said once this happens it shall turn the BJP government into a minority but Congress does not believe or wish to do that.
