3 Sikkimese students stranded in Ukraine cross border to Poland, soon to reach home

Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang has said that three Sikkimese students stranded in war-torn Ukraine have reached the border and have crossed over to Poland. Chief Minister Tamang said

Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang has said that three Sikkimese students stranded in war-torn Ukraine have reached the border and have crossed over to Poland.

Chief Minister Tamang said that the Indian Embassy in Poland will take care of them and send them home to India.

The Sikkim Chief Minister said that the government is arranging to bring back the students from Ukraine to New Delhi and then have them homebound to Sikkim.

Chief Minister Tamang also said that he had spoken to External Affairs Secretary Harsha Vardaan for the evacuation of all Sikkimese students from war-torn Ukraine.
