Manipur police on Friday arrested three cadres of the banned militant group United Nation Liberation Front and recovered 34 hand grenades from their possession.

Police said the arrest of the cadres and subsequent seizure of the hand grenades was made by a team of Thoubal police.

It is learnt that the hand grenades were recovered from a banana plantation farm in Tekcham Mayai leikai under Thoubal district

Receiving inputs of militant activity in the area, the police apprehended the militants and upon interrogation the grenades were recovered.
