The Nagaland Gaon Bura Federation has taken strong exception to the NSCN-IM’s alleged branding of Naga leaders, tribes, organisations and other Civil Societies as anti-Naga and traitors for not towing
The Nagaland Gaon Bura Federation has taken strong exception to the NSCN-IM’s alleged branding of Naga leaders, tribes, organisations and other Civil Societies as anti-Naga and traitors for not towing their political ideology.
In a release issued on Friday, the GB Federation also stated that the NSCN-IM’s demand for replacement of RN Ravi as the interlocutor for peace talks is unjust and untenable due to the fact that he is also the interlocutor with other negotiating groups.
Without mincing words, the GB Federation alleged that there is a perpetual tendency within NSCN-IM leadership to brand those not towing its political ideology as anti-Naga and traitors.
The GB Federation also took strong exception to the NSCN-IM’s statement branding it along with the 14 tribes and NTC as planted and tutored by Governor Ravi.
The GB Federation said that such statements have hurt the sentiments of Naga people. It added that the only role the Naga Civil Society Groups particularly the GB Federation, NTC and churches have played was bringing sworn enemies to a common table where they could see eye to eye for the sake of Nagas.
