Manipur: Drugs smuggling racket busted in Churachandpur district

A joint team of Defence Committee volunteers and village authority of Ngathal area in Manipur’s Churachandpur district, seized a huge quantity of drugs from the residence of a certain Drug

A joint team of Defence Committee volunteers and village authority of Ngathal area in Manipur’s Churachandpur district, seized a huge quantity of drugs from the residence of a certain Drug dealer identified as Songkhansiam in Churachandpur town on Friday evening.

The volunteers also recover drugs concealed in tobacco containers, 8,000 rupees and syringes used for drug abuse. A customer identified as Goukholal was also arrested from his residence.

Later on Songkhansiam, his wife Zamngaihlian along with the customer, were taken to the district police station.
