Highlighting the Act East Policy, he credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for accelerating development in the Northeast.
He stated that since 2014, the scale of progress in the region has been remarkable. Taking a swipe at past Communist rule, he remarked, “During their time, all we heard were slogans like ‘Zindabad’ and complaints about the Centre not providing funds. But today, we are witnessing real progress.”
