One KCP- PWG Cadre Arrested in Manipur

The arrested KCP-PWG cadre has been identified as Thounaojam Johnson Singh alias Nanao (42).
Continuing its crackdown on extortion in Manipur, the state police have arrested one cadre of proscribed underground outfit, Kangleipak Communist Party (People’s War Group) (KCP-PWG) on Sunday.
The arrested KCP-PWG cadre has been identified as Thounaojam Johnson Singh alias Nanao (42), a resident of Wabagai Leirak Achouba in Kakching district.
He was involved in carrying out extortion activities in Kakching areas.
Earlier in December 5, 2024, 3 cadres of the outfit identifed as- Laishram Kenjit Singh (36), Md Abdul Matalif (37), and Laishram Langamba Meitei (28) were arrested.
