Kidnapped PA of Manipur Minister Released; Shifted to Delhi for Treatment After Being Assaulted

Somorendro, the personal assistant to Manipur Minister Leishangthem Susindro, was released in the early hours today after being allegedly kidnapped and brutally assaulted by unknown miscreants.
Somorendro, the personal assistant of Manipur Minister Leishangthem Susindro, who was allegedly kidnapped by unidentified miscreants, was released at around 2:30 am today near Lamphel police station in Imphal West.
According to sources, the kidnappers had assaulted Somorendro before letting him go. He was initially admitted to a local hospital in Imphal for treatment but later transferred to Delhi for advanced medical care.
Somorendro was abducted yesterday while on his way to the Shree Shree Govindajee Temple to perform rituals. Authorities are investigating the incident.
