Arunachal Govt Assures to Address ANSU’s Concerns on Act Revocation and Schools Revamping

Regarding the second demand, the government has promised to develop a policy under the Public Private Partnership model to address the condition of government schools.
The Government of Arunachal Pradesh has assured to look into the concerns of the All Nyishi Students Union regarding the revocation of the District Based Entrepreneur and Professional Act and revamping of decaying schools across the state.
Speaking to the media today, ANSU President Nabam Dodum detailed their recent discussions with Chief Minister Pema Khandu and said that the union has called for the immediate repeal of the Arunachal Pradesh District Based Entrepreneur and Professional (Incentive Development and Promotion) Act, 2015, as well as the urgent revamping and reintegration of deteriorating schools across the state.
He said that the Chief Minister has assured that the government will thoroughly review these demands and will form an Independent Expert Committee to review potential amendments to the 2015 Act.
Regarding the second demand, the government has promised to develop a policy under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model to address the condition of government schools.
This policy will be formulated in consultation with all stakeholders and in accordance with established procedures.
