Just a day after Manipur Capital Imphal was rocked by a powerful IED blast, Security agencies today recovered a powerful remote controlled bomb attached to a mobile phone.

It was a patrolling team of the Assam Rifles that detected the bomb in the wee hours today.

The bomb was recovered at merely 150 metres away from the Indo-Myanmar international border in Moreh.

The bomb that contained around 3.5 kg of RDX was disposed in an isolated place in nearby village of Houlemphai.
