Arunachal: BJP expels 25 aspiring candidates for contesting against official BJP candidates in Assembly and MP elections

SD: The list includes names of 25 aspiring MLA candidates and 1 aspiring candidate for the MP elections. Worth mentioning among them are 4 sitting MLAs.

The BJP in Arunachal Pradesh has expelled as many as 25 aspiring MLA candidates and 1 aspiring MP candidate for a period of 6 years for contesting the recent elections against the official BJP candidates after joining other political parties.

In an expulsion order released by the State BJP office, the party stated that the aspiring candidates had contested the Assembly and parliamentary elections against the official BJP candidates.

The aspiring candidates have been expelled under the recommendation of the state BJP disciplinary action committee for a period of six years starting today.
The aspiring candidates who have been expelled by the BJP are-

  3. Tenzing Nyima Glow
  4. Nabam Vivek
  5. Mayu Taring
  6. Er. Tadar Mangku
  7. Dikto Yekar
  8. Ajay Murtem
  9. Tabe Doni
  10. Moli Riba
  11. Gokar Basar
  12. Jarkar Gamlin
  13. Taja Bonung
  14. Nobeng Burang
  15. Tapi Darang
  16. Oken Tayeng
  17. Badan Tayeng
  18. Likha Soni
  19. Laisam Simai
  20. Temphu Ngemu
  21. Dikhom Kitnya
  22. Wanglam Sawin(MLA)
  23. Yang Sen Matey
  24. Honting Wangpan
  25. Jowang Hosai
  26. Panjam Wangsa
  27. Nokchai Boham
  28. Tamat Gamoh

The list also includes names of 4 MLAs. They are
Laisam Simai-Nampong MLA, contested this time as an Independent
Wanglam Sawin- Khonsa East MLA, contested this time as an Independent
Wangdi Dorjee Kharma- Kalaktang MLA. He had switched to BJP from JD (U) and fought the elections this time on a NCP ticket
Gokar Basar- Basar MLA. He had switched to BJP from NPP, but again rejoined NPP just before the elections.
