One killed in pre-poll violence in West Kameng district

The BJP has demanded cancellation of the candidature of the independent candidate whose supporters are said to be involved in the clash that led to the death of a BJP
One person, identified as Thrizino-Buragaon, a BJP supporter, was killed in a clash between supporters of BJP candidate for Thrizino-Buragaon constituency Kumsi Sidisow, and his independent opponent Tenzin Nyima Glow on midnight last night at Khagok village, near Tenga under in West Kameng district.
Condemning the clashes the BJP leaders demanded cancellation of the candidature of the independent candidate. The BJP also demanded exemplary action against this act, and said that people behind the clash should not be spared.
Tenzin Nyima Glow expressed condolences to the bereaved family and condemned the violence.
