Yet another round of tripartite talks between the Centre, State Government and United Naga Council was held in the Senapati district headquarters in Manipur today.

The talks were held to resolve the problem of creation of seven new districts in Manipur.

The UNC has been demanding the revocation of the districts while the state government is reluctant to take any such decision.

Meanwhile, at the end of the meet, Joint secreatry Northeast, Ministry of Home Affairs Satyendra Garg informed that the state government has admitted that it could not come up with a concrete proposal on the matter at hand due to urgent issues before the government.

The state government has requested for some more time and the next meeting has been scheduled for the first week of December.
