The Deputy Secretary to the Government of India, in a letter to Manipur University acting Vice Chancellor, clearly mentioned that the decision to replace the present Registrar Shamkesho Singh has been nullified.
The Centre has therefore asked the Vice Chancellor to undo the changes immediately and send a compliance report at the earliest.
