A suspected IED blast was reported from Telipati in Imphal East of Manipur in the wee hours today.

The blast suspected to be from an IED explosive went off at about 3.35 am in front of a godown in Inphal’s Telipati area.

The godown belonged to a local trader identified as Ramnath Sahu.
No casualty of any sort has been reported in the incident.

However, a portion of the godown’s front gate has been damaged in the blast.

Meanwhile, a team of police visited the spot of the blast today morning and began their investigation. So far no comments have come in from the police regarding the incident.
