College teachers in Manipur to go on mass casual leave demanding implementation of 7th Pay Commission & UGC norms

Demanding the implementation of 7th Pay Commission & UGC Regulation, 2018 for the teachers of Govt Colleges in Manipur, the Federation of Government College Teachers’ Assocition-Manipur has announced to launch
Demanding the implementation of 7th Pay Commission & UGC Regulation, 2018 for the teachers of Govt Colleges in Manipur, the Federation of Government College Teachers’ Assocition-Manipur has announced to launch a series of agitation on Tuesday, September 24.
They have announced to go on mass casual leave and observe sit-in-protest followed by cease work strike as a part of the protest.
Addressing media today, the association General Secretary Dr N Somorendro Singh said the association had on 9 Sept placed the request & ultimatum to CM asking to implement latest by 23rd Sept.
However, no positive response has been received so far hence they are now going to launch the protest.
