Political environment in Sikkim is heating up ahead of general election 2019. Plenty of public meetings and events have started taking place.
The ruling Sikkim Democratic Front on Friday organised a mega umbrella rally in Singtam.
The mega rally witnessed the participation of thousands of supporters from as many as three constituencies comprising of Tumin Lingee, West pandam and Singtam Khamdong, led by Tourism Minister Ugen T Gyasto Bhutia and Transport Minister D T Lepcha.
It is worth mentioning here that the rally is part of the 2019 general election campaign which was waived off during the Central Executive Meeting of the SDF held under the guidance of Chief Minister Pawan Chamling.
