Sensation prevails in western Assam’s Goalpara town with the discovery of several flags with the letters IS NE this morning, bearing resemblance to the flag of the global terror group ISIS.
Morning walkers saw six such flags at the Old Court premises in Goalpara and the information soon spread like wildfire. The Police have since begun an investigation to find out if it was the handiwork of mischief-mongers or whether any terror group is behind this.
It may be recalled that a few weeks ago a youth from Jamunamukh in central Assam’s Hojai district was in the news for having joined the Hizu-ul-Mujahideen terror outfit in Jammu & Kashmir.
The photograph of the youth named Kamruz Zaman had gone viral in the social media following which the police had launched an enquiry. Later, Zaman’s mother confirmed the social media photograph as that of her son who is said to have joined the Hizb terror group.
