A prominent personality and a pioneer from Nagaland, Yashitsungba passed away at wee hours at Eden hospital in Dimapur today morning. Yashitsungba was a well-known philanthropist who built numerous churches
A prominent personality and a pioneer from Nagaland, Yashitsungba passed away at wee hours at Eden hospital in Dimapur today morning.
Yashitsungba was a well-known philanthropist who built numerous churches across the state and also helped various societies and social activities with funding. He was the moving force behind the setting up of the first cancer hospital in the State and also the founder of the renowned Zion Hospital and Research Center at Dimapur.
Significantly, Yashitsunga was also awarded with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution and success as an entrepreneur in the 2010, North East Agri Expo.
Meanwhile, his mortal remains have been kept at Khermahal in Dimapur where the funereal will take place tomorrow.
