Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu has once again reiterated zero tolerance towards corruption in the state.
Sharing a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, CM Pema Khandu said that to take the nation towards development, people will have to stop corrupt practices.
The Chief Minister said that the State government has been taking tough measures to curb corruption in the state.
Speaking about the recent termination of over 250 illegally appointed employees in education department, CM Khandu said that despite the state government’s actions against all involved in the paper leak issue in the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) assistant engineer (civil) exams held last year, people are continuing to engage in corruption and are not learning any lessons.
It may be mentioned here that the Arunachal Pradesh education department has terminated the services of over 257 ‘improperly appointed’ staff appointed in different capacities across the state on November 24.
The department said, “A significant number of PRTs, TGTs, UDCs, LDCs, and MTS had secured their positions by presenting appointment orders that were later discovered to be fraudulent.”
