In celebration of Guinness World Records Day on Thursday, the tallest woman and shortest woman had afternoon tea together in London on Tuesday (November 19) and were honoured by the record-breaking experts as icons. At 2 metres and 15.16cm (7ft 0.7) tall, Rumeysa Gelgi, a researcher from Turkey, towered over Jyoti Amge, an actor from India, who stands at just 62.8cm (24.7in).
