Assam: Woman found dead in a hotel room in Guwahati

The deceased has been identified as Tazmina Khatun. As per sources, she was staying in the hotel with her husband since January 14, 2023

A woman was found dead inside a room at the Rajhans Hotel in Guwahati’s Fancy Bazaar today.

The deceased has been identified as Tazmina Khatun.

The body was recovered after hotel staff members unlocked the room’s door with the master key out of suspicion as it had been closed and locked since Tuesday.

As per sources, Tazmina Khatun was staying in the hotel with her husband since January 14, 2023.

It is suspected that her husband must have killed her and fled.
