United Naga Council Calls 48 Hours Bandh Across Naga Areas, Demands Roll Back Of 7 New Districts
The Government of Manipur has reached out to the United Naga Council, agreeing to its demands to hold tripartite talks with the Centre on issues related to creation of 7 new Districts in Manipur. The State Government has asked the UNC to withdraw the proposed total shutdown stating that the Centre has agreed to resume tripartite talks and nominated AK Mishra to represent the Ministry of Home Affairs.
