As the country celebrated Republic Day, serial blasts rocked different locations of Eastern Assam on Sunday, Assam Police has suspected ULFA-Independent to be behind the blasts.

Speaking about the ongoing investigation into the low intensity serial blasts, Director General of Assam Police, Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta said that police have already got some clues and are currently working on it.

DGP Mahanta also denied any casualties and damage of property in the attack.
