Delivering yet another blow to the NSCN-IM, security forces arrested two Over Ground Workers of the insurgent outfit from Niausa village in Arunachal Pradesh’s Longding district.

Based on specific inputs about extortion activities carried out by the militant outfit in the village, security forces launched a search operation an apprehended the two militants at a time when both the militants were on their way to deliver the extorted sum of money to the underground cadres of the banned outfit.

Post spot interrogation the duo admitted of their allegiance to NSCN-IM and their involvement in extortion activities in Longding District.
