Two armed robbers have been arrested by East Khasi Hills police for their involvement in a robbery on September 14. The victim was confronted by three assailants near Little Blossom
Two armed robbers have been arrested by East Khasi Hills police for their involvement in a robbery on September 14. The accused were identified as Max Eric Syiemliehm and Melvin Tongwah. According to Superintendent of Police Sylvester Nongtnger, the victim reported the incident to Sadar police station on September 18.
The victim was confronted by three assailants near Little Blossom School after closing his shop for the day. The robbers, armed with weapons, threatened him and stole Rs 10,200.
Further investigations revealed that the same suspects had attempted another robbery at Hideaway Cafe on September 16, where they assaulted a person but failed to rob the premises.
