Twelve-year-old girl goes missing from Assam’s Margherita

In a shocking incident, a twelve-year-old girl has gone missing from Assam’s Margherita. The victim has been identified as Mithali Saikia, daughter of Julie Saikia residing in Segunbari, Margherita.

As per report, Mithali’s mother had left her at her relative’s place to watch Bihu function. The victim went missing from her relative’s house in the morning.

The family members have complained to a nearby police station. Further investigation is underway.

This is not the first time such an incident has happened in Assam. On April 22, five children between the ages of 10 to 14 years were reported missing from Doboka, their hometown in Assam. The children had been missing since Eid, and their whereabouts are still unknown.
