Tripura: Nigerian national arrested for illegally crossing over to India

An illegal Nigerian national has been apprehended in Tripura’s South District. The individual, identified as Raymond Niommy Dammy, was apprehended by the Border Security Force at Sabrum in the Belonia
An illegal Nigerian national has been apprehended in Tripura’s South District.
The individual, identified as Raymond Niommy Dammy, was apprehended by the Border Security Force at Sabrum in the Belonia sub division near the Bangladesh border.
As per reports, Raymond hails from Dru West district in Nigeria. Raymond was caught while he was illegally trying to enter India via Bangladesh. He has been handed over to the police and placed under arrest.
So far, a Nigerian passport, a laptop, three mobile handsets and mobile phone charger have been seized from him. Some Nigerian currency has also been recovered from the arrested individual.
