A team of the National Investigation Agency led by SP, interrogates the 24 Bangladeshis who were arrested from the Agartala railway station for intruding into the state without valid passports.
The central investigating agency is looking into the matter to ascertain if the arrested youths have any links with the terror outfit.
It is believed that the Bangladeshi youths had sneaked into the Indian territory through the porous India-Bangladesh border at Benepole in West Bengal.
On Friday, 24 Bangladeshis were arrested from the Agartala railway station for intruding into the state without valid passports.
The youths had arrived in the state from different states through trains and acting on specific inputs, the Tripura Police Mobile Task Force nabbed the Bangladeshi nationals who were planning to cross over to the other side of the border.
The arrested nationals had revealed that their friends in Uttar Pradesh suggested that they could easily cross over to their native country through the porous India-Bangladesh border.
