“The people are aware of the truth, and that is reflected in their electoral defeats,” Manik Saha said.
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha launched a sharp attack on the Opposition CPIM and Congress, accusing them of spreading baseless allegations and indulging in negative politics to remain politically relevant.
Speaking to reporters after distributing 140 scooties to meritorious female students under the Mukhyamantri Konya Atmanirbhar Yojana, Saha dismissed the Opposition’s claims that government project approvals require commissions.
“These allegations were already addressed in the Assembly, where I made it clear that they are completely baseless. Yet, they keep repeating them because their political survival depends on such meaningless claims,” Saha said.
The Chief Minister accused the Opposition of resorting to false narratives instead of focusing on real issues. “The people are aware of the truth, and that is reflected in their electoral defeats,” he added.
During the event, the government distributed scooties to 140 girl students who excelled in TBSE, CBSE, and ISC board exams. Saha said the initiative reflects the state government’s commitment to empowering women and promoting education. He expressed hope that this effort would inspire young women to pursue their ambitions and contribute to the state’s development.
