Tripura CM launches tribal development initiatives on Jan Jatiya Gaurav Diwas

CM Saha expressed his government’s commitment to ensuring the benefits of central and state government schemes reach every individual in society
On the commemoration of Birsa Munda’s birth anniversary, Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, accompanied by Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma, Agriculture Minister Ratan Lal Nath, and Cooperation, Tribal Welfare, Welfare of Minorities Minister, Sukla Charan Noatia, inaugurated the Chief Minister’s Tribal Development Mission and Pratihari Ghare Sudhan 2.0 at Agartala’s Rabindra Bhavan hall today.
The dignitaries virtually joined Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Jan Jatiya Gaurav Diwas celebration in Khunti, Jharkhand. During the event, PM Modi launched the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ and the Pradhan Mantri Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups Development Mission.
Additionally, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for multiple development projects worth Rs 7200 crores across sectors like rail, road, education, coal, petroleum, and natural gas in Jharkhand.
The 15th installment of PM-KISAN was also released.
Meanwhile, addressing the audience, Tripura CM Saha expressed his government’s commitment to ensuring the benefits of central and state government schemes reach every individual in society
He emphasized the government’s mission mode approach toward the development of the tribal population and highlighted the importance of awareness for project success.
Saha noted the government’s efforts to disseminate information and publicize opportunities to enable common people to take advantage of various initiatives and for which two vehicles shall move across the state till January 26, 2024 to spread awareness regarding the schemes and welfare programs of the government.
