Tripura: 2 Bihar women found in possession of 21 packets of cannabis in police net

Two women from Bihar who were carrying 21 packets of ganja (cannabis), were nabbed by a team of Anti-Narcotics Squad (ANS) of Tripura police from the Interstate Bus Terminal (ISBT) in Dharmangar, North Tripura district.

The two women, identified as Vishakha Devi and Rina Devi, were detained by the authorities and transported to the Dharmangar police station for further investigation.

Following an interrogation and a body search, the ANS personnel recovered the 21 packets of drugs ganja which were concealed in their bodies, Bhanupada Chakrabarti, Superintendent of Police for North District Police said.
