Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee president Takam Sanjoy has served a 10-day ultimatum to the State Government to grant justice to the victims of the Trans-Arunachal Highway compensation payment scam.
The President further informed that if justice is not granted within the given deadline, the Congress will be forced to launch a series of demonstrations.
He alleged that a huge amount was given to people without land as compensation, while land owners were given a very small amount.
Moreover, the APCC reiterated that the case should be handed over to the CBI as the Special Investigation Team of the State Police is ‘not competent’ to probe the scam.
