The Himalayan state of Sikkim has witnessed a massive decline in tourist footfall due to the ongoing Anti-CAA agitation in the region.
As per the Gangtok based tour operators, a 70 percent decline in tourist footfall has been noticed this season.
Even though, Sikkim has not witnessed intense movement or agitation, tourists are cancelling their scheduled trips to the state following disturbances in other parts of the Northeast.
