A three-member delegation of CPI (M) called on Tripura police DGP Rajib Singh, claiming that the ruling dispensation have attacked and threatened CPI (M) party workers and leaders across the State since the BJP-IPFT came to power.
The delegation, led by CPI (M) Tripura State Secretary and Central Committee Member Goutam Das, alleged that around 14 party workers have been killed and several party cadres have been brutally assaulted by the miscreants supported and sponsored by the BJP-IPFT government.
The delegation also apprised the Tripura police DGP that many party offices have been vandalized, razed by the miscreants.
Meanwhile, Tripura police DGP Rajib Singh has assured the delegation that he would look into the matter in all earnestness.
