As many as 7 more Assamese students have been evacuated from war-torn Ukraine and brought back to the state last night.
Upon reaching, the students recollected the devastating situation that has gripped Ukraine.
The students thanked the state government and the centre for ensuring their safe return.
The students also urged the state government to safely bring back the remaining students stranded in war-torn Ukraine as soon as possible as the situation in Ukraine is worsening.

A special flight carrying 218 Indian nationals stranded in Ukraine reached Delhi from the Romanian capital Bucharest last night under Operation Ganga.
While another flight carrying 182 Indian nationals stranded in Ukraine reached Mumbai from Romania’s Bucharest as part of ‘Operation Ganga.
It may be mentioned that the state government and the government of India are working tirelessly to evacuate students and bring them back home who are stranded in Ukraine due to the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
Yesterday three Assam students namely Deepishikha Das of Bankhar, Prayash Sharma of Jorhat and Avneesh Phukan of Moran arrived home from Ukraine.
Earlier in the last week, six students hailing from Assam have also arrived safely from war-torn Ukraine.
