Singer Rishi Baruah Attacked by Miscreants in Guwahati’s Commerce Point Amid Holi Festivities

Following the attack, Rishi Baruah filed a complaint with the police, seeking action against the culprits.

Singer Rishi Baruah was brutally attacked by a group of miscreants at Commerce Point in Guwahati last night amid the Holi celebrations.

According to reports, Rishi was on his way home after playing cricket when the gang targeted him without any apparent reason. Following the attack, Rishi Baruah filed a complaint with the police, seeking action against the culprits. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a young woman caused a commotion in Guwahati’s Beltola Wireless area while under the influence of alcohol. Witnesses reported that the girl damaged goods in a shop and hurled abuses at passersby.

The ruckus reportedly lasted for about an hour before locals alerted Dispur police. A police team arrived at the scene and took the girl into custody for further questioning.
