Proud moment for Sikkim. Simeyon Sukita Rai, a poet from the state has won season 2 of the Poet Idol, a popular reality TV show of Nepal. Notably, Rai is the second Sikkimese to win the popular reality show from the neighbouring country for the second year in a row. The first season of the reality show was won by poet Sikkim’s Neelam Gurung. Simeyon Sukita Rai hails from Namchi.
