Speaking to the media, SPYF Leader Shankar Sharma said that ever since the COVID pandemic, as many as 99% of schools are facing a shortage of teachers in the state of Sikkim, which is posing uncertainties for the future of students.
The SPYF leader further alleged that even after interviews were conducted almost 5 months ago, the results had not been declared. They asked the Sikkim government to immediately declare the results of teacher appointments and depute the teachers to the schools that are facing shortages so that classes can function properly.
