The ruling Sikkim Krantikari Morcha party will be observing its 10th foundation day today. The party was formed on the 4th of February 2013 at Soreng after PS Tamang, the then sitting MLA of SDF, revolted against the party in 2009.

Speaking to Northeast Live in an exclusive interview, SKM Spokesperson Bikash Basnet said, due to COVID-19 protocols, this year the party will be observing the 10th foundation day in a low-key manner at its party offices spread across the state.

Chief Minister and party president, PS Tamang, will most likely attend the foundation day celebrations at the party headquarters today.
