Sikkim: Fmr Minister and senior SDF leader SB Subedi dies at 66

Three times MLA from Geyzing Constituency, West Sikkim, and a former minister, SB Subedi breathed his last at around 8:30 am this morning at his residency
Former Sikkim Minister and senior leader of Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF), Sher Bahadur Subedi, popularly known as SB Subedi died this morning. He was 66.
The 3- time MLA from Geyzing Constituency, West Sikkim and a former minister in the erstwhile Pawan Chamling government, Subedi breathed his last at around 8:30 am at his residency. He was battling cancer.
He is survived by his wife, son and daughter.
SB Subedi joined SDF in 1993. He was Sikkim Transport Minister from 1999-2004, Forest Minister from 2004-2009 and Minister of Rural Management and Development, Panchayati Raj and Cooperation in Pawan Chamling’s 5th term government from 2014 to 2019.
