Yodha, starring Sidharth Malhotra which released in theatres on March 15 across India took off to an impressive start raking in Rs 4.25 crore in India on day one.

The film stars Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna alongside Sidharth  in lead roles Yodha has been directed by debutant duo Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha while the film has been  produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan.

About Yodha:

The high-octane action thriller film Yodha follows Arun Katyal, the commanding officer of an elite unit, the Yodha Task Force, on a thrilling rescue operation. The film’s cheesy and complacent co-optation, as well as its surface-level understanding of the Kashmir situation and terrorism, leave it with nothing fresh to contribute.. In Yodha, passenger planes are mere playthings in the hands of commandos and terrorists. They can access the cargo hold from the cabin at will, which, as anybody who knows about planes will tell you, is simply not possible. The film eventually winds up in an Islamabad building called Jinnah Hall where peace talks are underway between the premiers of India and Pakistan.
