Special focus is being given to the hill districts with state BJP president A. Sharda Devi campaigning at the Saikot constituency today.
Addressing a rally for BJP candidate Paolienlal Haokip, Sharda Devi said that the BJP ruled Manipur government has done nothing to ever discriminate between the people of the plains and the hills. Sharda Devi said that the BJP through its various schemes has tried to promote brotherhood and peace among different sections in Manipur.

The Manipur BJP chief said that Paolienlal Haokip has been given the ticket on the virtue of his experience which she said would be beneficial in guiding the constituency towards the path of progress.
Sharda Devi also targeted the opposition Congress party and stated that those parties which term the BJP as communal are themselves communal in reality. She further said that good governance and various startup programmes by the BJP led Manipur government has brought in a new wave in Manipur and they would continue this trend if voted back to power.

And elections in any part of the country are always an extravaganza, with cultural and other performances being a part of rallies.
In Saikot, the wife of BJP candidate Paolienlal Haokip, Lamkholhing performed before her husband delivered his speech.
