Following the release of Sikkim Krantikari Morcha leader P S Golay from jail after serving one year of imprisonment, ruling Sikkim Democratic Front party leaders called for an emergency cabinet meeting today that was organised at the Chief Minister’s residence.

All MLAs and Cabinet ministers attended the meet. Party spokesperson KT Gyaltsen termed Golay’s release just an ordinary legal procedure. He further added that SDF is unperturbed by Golay’s release.
