RMSA Teachers’ call off agitation in Nagaland

The Rashtriya Madhyamik Sikhsa Abhiyan teachers has called off their agitation of boycotting classes in Nagaland.
The development comes after the education department agreed to look into the demands tabled by the Nagaland RMSA Teachers Association-2016 batch.
Earlier, the RMSA teachers met the Principal secy, School education, Mission Director RMSA, Joint Mission Director RMSA & Director School Education.
The RMSA teachers informed that the agitation was called off after the Principal Secretary of School Education postponed the deadline for signing the Official Memorandum (OM) which was set on September 17 to 29 Sept so that a respectable time period is provided to the department to cross examine the demands of the teachers.
Subsequent to this the association has asked all its members to resume their normal duties at the earliest.
Besides the principal secretary also assured of payment of pending salaries at the earliest.
