‘Restriction on Entry of non-M’laya Vehicles Impacting Food Transportation

“Through this route food items like vegetables, eggs are transported to Barak Valley in Assam, Mizoram, Tripura, Manipur. The entry restrictions are causing a lot of problem to us transporters.

Business is getting impacted as this is the season for us transporters”, Vice President of All India Road Transport Workers Federation told new agency ANI. Entry of non-Meghalaya vehicles into the state has been restricted post the Mukroh firing incident to avoid any untoward incident.
