The United Liberation Front of Asom—ULFA(I) has released the other abducted Quippo Oil and Gas Infrastructure Limited employee, Ram Kumar at an unknown location on the Indo-Myanmar border on Monday
The United Liberation Front of Asom—ULFA(I) has released the other abducted Quippo Oil and Gas Infrastructure Limited employee, Ram Kumar at an unknown location on the Indo-Myanmar border on Monday morning.
Soon after his release, News Live’s chief reporter Anmitra Gogoi and senior journalist Sunil Bora, and senior video journalist Nav Krishna Pegu met Ram Kumar on the Myanmar border.
Ram Kumar is currently in the custody of Assam Rifles and will be sent to Assam after formalities.
It is to be noted that Pranab Kumar Gogoi who was abducted along with Ram Kumar was released by the ULFA(I) on Sunday(April 3).
Pranab Kumar Gogoi, drilling superintendent and Ram Kumar, a radio operator with the oil company were abducted on December 21 from the company’s Kumchaikha hydrocarbon drilling site in Arunachal Pradesh’s Changlang district.
While Pranab Gogoi hails from the Sivasagar district of Assam, Ram Kumar is from Bihar.
