Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma has a Packed Schedule in Bhutan Today

The visiting Assam Chief Minister will end the day with a Royal Banquet hosted by His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck.
Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, who is on a 4-day official visit to Bhutan, has a packed schedule today. Dr Sarma, accompanied by his wife Riniki Bhuyan Sharma, will call on the 4th King Jigme Singye Wangchuck. He will then be given a presentation on the Gelephu Mindfulness City by the former Prime Minister Dr Lotey Tshering, who is currently the Governor of GMC. Dr Tshering is also hosting a lunch for the Assam Chief Minister and his delegation.
Later, Dr Sarma will visit Bhutan’ s oldest Dzong or fortress called the Semtokha Dzong located on the outskirts of Thimphu.
The visiting Assam Chief Minister will end the day with a Royal Banquet hosted by His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck where the who’s who of Bhutan will be present.
Dr Sarma is returning back home tomorrow after the highly significant visit.
