Prime accused of Batadrava rape and murder arrested

In a major breakthrough, Nagaon Police arrested Zakir Hussain, the prime accused in the horrifying rape and murder of a minor in Assam’s Nagaon district that shook the entire region.  

In a major breakthrough, Nagaon Police arrested Zakir Hussain, the prime accused in the horrifying rape and murder of a minor in Assam’s Nagaon district that shook the entire region.

 

Hussain was arrested from Laogaon in Batatdraba of Assam’s Nagaon district.
The accused was arrested after police interrogated one Shahjahan Ali of Moirabari.

In what can be termed as a spine chilling incident, the accused along with two others raped and set ablaze a minor, who was a fifth standard student.

Narrating her horrific ordeal, the victim breathed her last at the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital after battling with 90 percent burn injuries.
